Marketing that reports in money

Search, Google Ads, social media, paid social and email. From £375 a month, and the report at the end of it has revenue on it rather than a graph of how many people theoretically saw something.

Five things, priced separately

Marketing

Every month, three-month term
Search, localGetting you found by people in the area you serve. £550 /mo
Search, standardGetting you found by people looking for what you offer, wherever they are. £750 /mo
Search, ecommerceGetting every product found by the people who want to buy it. £1,150 /mo
Google AdsA flat fee rather than a percentage of your spend, so what I charge doesn’t rise when your budget does. £375 /mo
Social media, liteA post a week. I write them, make or find the pictures, and reply to what comes back. £650 /mo
Social media, standardThree posts a week. The same job at three times the cadence. £1,200 /mo
Paid social, Meta adsMeta ads, which is a different job from the posting above and includes none of it. £1,750 /mo
EmailFlows and campaigns to people who have already bought from you. £450 /mo
Search.
£550 local, £750 standard, £1,150 ecommerce. Expect three months before anything moves and six before it’s worth much. I’d rather say that than take a month’s fee.
Google Ads.
£375 flat, not a percentage of your spend, so what I charge doesn’t rise when your budget does. Minimum spend £600 a month; below that the fee is bigger than a useful share of the thing it manages.
Social media.
£650 for a post a week, £1,200 for three. Organic only: I write them, make or find the pictures, and reply to what comes back.
Paid social.
£1,750 for Meta ads, which is a different job from the posting above and includes none of it. Minimum spend £2,650.
Email.
£450. Flows and campaigns to people who have already bought from you, which is usually the cheapest return on this list.

The complexity scales, so the price does too. Paid social works well for some businesses and badly for others, and which one you are is largely decided before I start. If you sell a considered purchase to a local catchment it’s search and Ads first, and I’ll say so even though those are cheaper.

Three months before anything moves, six before it’s worth much. Anyone promising faster is selling you the first month.

Reports go out the
first working day.

What’s on the monthly report

One page, sent on the first working day of the month. Five things, and none of them is an impression count.

  1. 01What it cost you. Fee and ad spend, separately.
  2. 02What came in. Enquiries, calls and orders, with money attached where the tracking can attach it.
  3. 03What I did last month.
  4. 04What I’m doing next month.
  5. 05Anything that went wrong. Including things I got wrong.

The first thing I check on any account I’m handed is whether conversion tracking actually fires, because when it’s broken the numbers still look like numbers and nobody can tell.

Take more than one and it costs less

Together

Every month
Search (standard) and Google AdsSingly £1,125. £1,070 /mo
Search (standard), Google Ads and emailSingly £1,575. £1,420 /mo
Search (standard), Google Ads, email and social liteSingly £2,225. £2,005 /mo
Everything, local searchSingly £4,325. £3,895 /mo
Everything, standard searchSingly £4,525. £4,075 /mo
Everything, ecommerce searchSingly £4,925. £4,435 /mo

Two services together take 5% off the total, three or more take 10%. Add one later and the lower price starts that month; nothing is backdated and there’s no charge for changing your mind.

Start with one and add the rest when it’s earning its keep. I’d rather you did that than bought the lot on day one to be safe.
